Stands (1x fixed, 1x rotating – carousel) are used to simulate vehicles with lights on, and there are a number of different light sources (bulbs, LEDs, xenons). At the same time, thanks to the design of the light stands, the light sources can be changed quickly, which is especially suitable for within-subjects designs to compare reactions to different light sources or their combinations. Thanks to the placement of the carousel on the rails, the stands will find their use mainly in the research of glare on the roads, but also in another setting, which includes a simulation of the movement of an oncoming vehicle.
